Reopening for the 2026/27 season. Our guest rooms are being rebuilt this autumn — the photos here show the lodge as it stands today.

Why here

Quiet, without being far

Tsugaike is three minutes away by car and Iwatake is five. The shuttle that loops the ski fields and the village stops a three-minute walk from our door. You get the quiet evenings without losing the mornings.

More than one place to settle

There's more than one lounge here, all timber and warm colour, so you can pick the one that suits the moment — by the wood fire with everyone, or somewhere quieter with a book.

An en-suite shower room in every room

Every room has its own en-suite shower room, with a heated washlet toilet and a separate vanity. Not something many lodges in Hakuba can say.

The lodge

More than one place to settle

Some evenings you want the fire and everyone around it. Some evenings you want a corner, a book and no conversation. You can have either without leaving the building.

Room enough to stay together

Six of our eight rooms sleep three to five, so families and groups don't have to split up across floors. Every room has its own en-suite shower room, with a heated washlet toilet and a separate vanity.

Meals

Breakfast, and where to go after that

Breakfast is ¥1,500 per person and changes with the morning — a Western plate one day, grilled salmon and rice the next. Add it when you book, or tell us after you arrive.

Dinner isn't part of a standard stay. The Tsugaike base is three minutes away by car, Echoland — Hakuba's main run of bars and izakaya — is twelve and sits on the village shuttle, and Hakuba Pizza delivers to the door.

Take the whole place

Eight rooms and up to 27 guests — the lodge to yourselves, from around ¥11,000 per person a night. For groups travelling together, we can also put on a set dinner.

Getting here in detail

Our lowest rate is here

We price this site below every booking platform we're listed on. Those platforms run their own membership discounts and points, so their total can sometimes land under ours — but the rate we set is always lowest here.

Booking direct also means you're talking to us rather than a call centre — about the shuttle, dropping your bags off early, a cot for the baby.

Rooms are open for the 2026/27 season

Winter runs from early December to early May.
